Underworld Delivery
Submission for the GameDevTV jam in May 2023 with the theme, "Life in 2 dimensions!"
Live the life of a delivery driver carrying packages around a small neighborhood. However, unlike a normal delivery operation, this one is special! You see, your job is to take packages from our dimension to the underworld! Grab a package and as the famous movie says, you can see dead people! But be warned - stray too close to them and lose a life. Drop off the package to return to our dimension and find the next pickup!
You have 5 minutes to deliver as many packages as you can - but if you lose all three lives to the dead, your game ends! Use the minimap to help you navigate the neighborhood and avoid the dead people wandering around the underworld. Yellow means pickup; blue means drop-off location; and the red dots are the dead to avoid. Use the arrow keys or WASD to move and mouse to rotate. Note: Upon game start, you may have to click on the game window to lock the mouse cursor, which will allow you to fully spin around.

Good job!
I like the idea and how the game jam theme fitted to your game.
Thank you for trying the game!
Excellent game! I loved the two dimensions and how things changed between them. Great mechanic and very original feeling.
Cool idea, I like the aesthetic and music change from our dimension to the underworld. Would be cool if the zombies chased you.
Thanks! They sort of do chase you, but I made them really slow so they were easy to avoid. Because it is 1st person, you don't really see them behind you. The idea is that they present some obstacle, but your main challenge is the clock.
Well done!!
Super original and honestly a fantastic and fun game idea!
Thank you for the kind words! Had the idea late in the jam period, after bouncing a few different things off of Bing Chat based on some of the free assets I could find. Was just glad to finish in time with hopefully few bugs.
